Neurodivergence isn't just something that shows up in childhood or in headlines. It's already in your workplace, quietly shaping how people communicate, create, and collaborate. From autism to ADHD to dyslexia and beyond, neurodivergence shows up in many forms, and chances are, you're already working alongside neurodivergent employees... whether you realize it or not.

This session gives HR professionals a clear, candid introduction to what neurodivergence really is (and isn't), what it can look like in adults, and why many traditional assumptions just don't hold up. We'll bust some big myths, explore real-world examples, and give you a fresh, more human lens for understanding the full spectrum of how brains work.

About the Speaker

Summer Jelinek is more than just a leadership expert - she's a seasoned professional with a knack for turning organizational chaos into calm, cohesive cultures. As an autistic ADHDer and proud neurodivergent leader, she brings a unique lens to her work as a keynote speaker, trainer, and author. With over two decades of leadership experience at places like Walt Disney World, the Disney Institute, H-E-B/Central Market, and even a ski resort, Summer connects with audiences worldwide to explore the real, messy, magical world of leadership.

Summer holds an MBA and a Leadership Certification from the #1-ranked HR.com master's program at Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College. She's currently pursuing her Ph.D., where she's researching neurodivergence in the workplace - and reimagining what inclusive leadership can truly look like.
