On-Board Session
The Executive Shift - From HR Expertise to Executive Influence
Presented By
Julie Doyle
Founder & Executive Advisor | Cultivate Consulting Services
Session Description
Expectations of HR leaders have changed.
Organizations still rely on HR expertise. But increasingly, they also expect HR leaders to help shape decisions that strengthen leadership, organizational capability, and business performance.
Technical expertise remains essential. What distinguishes executive HR leaders is how they apply that expertise through executive perspective, judgment, and influence to strengthen organizational decisions.
In this executive session, Julie Doyle introduces The Executive Shift Framework for understanding how HR expertise becomes executive influence. Through stories, discussion, and practical reflection, participants will explore three shifts that strengthen executive perspective, sharpen judgment, and increase their contribution to enterprise decision-making.
Participants will leave with a new executive lens for approaching HR decisions and conversations, with practical questions they can immediately apply to strengthen organizational capability and business performance.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain how executive judgment builds on HR expertise to strengthen organizational capability and business performance.
- Apply the three Executive Shifts - Perspective, Judgment, and Influence - to approach HR decisions through a broader organizational lens.
- Identify one change they can make immediately to strengthen their contribution to organizational decisions.
