"Uncommon Mindset Skills to Enrich Your Life with Happierness" (On Board)
Learning Objectives:
- Cultivate the mindset, resilience and habits to think, feel and perform at their best
- Improve personal effectiveness to manage interactions, energy and Mood Health
- Learn practical skills to diminish overthinking, outsmart uncertainties and live more presently
Session Description:
Among the full spectrum of life improvement concepts and techniques, Matt has identified two underdeveloped skills that he believes hold the greatest potential to achieve lasting enrichment.
These abilities serve to mitigate adversity while enabling people to experience more of life’s greatest joys.
Instead, the norm for many of us is to be seemingly stuck in our heads. We tend to rehash about past events, pre-hash about future uncertainties and ruminate in the present, often based on distortions of reality.
Overthinking - triggered by these tendencies to experience life in the “unpresent” – may be the utmost source of unhappiness. Fortunately, the opposite case is also true. We may not be able to control our thoughts, but we can prevent them from controlling us and diminishing our lives.
With practice, these skills provide a sustainable and enduring “Mindset Reset” that can make meaningful and enduring improvements to enrich your life with greater purpose, passion and positivity!
