Session Description:

There is no shortage of managers, directors, VPS, etc., however, there is a shortage of LEADERS. There is a major difference between directing and telling people what to do versus leading them to their outcome. It is hard, it takes time and effort, and, especially as Human Resources, we need to exemplify what that looks like.

Speaker Bio:

Jason Lawson is an accomplished 30-year HR professional. He has spent his career in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Most recently he has served as the Vice President for Human Resources at Installed Building Products, the CHRO for Dycom Industries and, currently, as the VP for Human Resources for Anomatic, Inc. Additionally, Jason is an active member of SHRM both nationally and locally serving as the Chairperson for the OH HR Conference in 2023.
