Daniel Juday
"Creating a Culture that Accelerates Inclusion" (On Board / Workshop)
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to articulate the conditions for team members thriving regardless of industry or team size.
- Participants will be able to create those conditions through 4 bodies of work, as described by Accelerant Culture.
- Participants will be able to identify “toxic cultures” that derail their team from getting better.
Session Description:
Everyone seems to be talking about culture, but almost everyone is talking about the “what,” not the “how.” It’s one thing to know what you want your company environment to be like, or that “diversity” matters to you, or that you want your team to feel included and valued, but it’s another thing to plot a course to actually get there. Working on organizational culture means understanding culture as an accelerant and catalyst, rather than simply as a product or end-goal. Our mission is to build the framework of an evolving, dynamic culture that not only accepts every person, but also allows for and encourages every single person to get better, all the time. Everyone gets to belong, and everyone gets to be launched.
