Session Description:

This session is an effort to discuss the "how" of successfully integrating diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) into your everyday operations to better your associates' experiences, achieve your business objectives and better support your communities.

The objectives of “Diving into Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” are to: simplify a sustainability approach of "DEI" integration into leadership; explore ways you can address (proactively and retroactively) situations, and better understand your role in supporting a culture & community of inclusion.

 

Speaker Bio:

Byron has more than 10 years of Global HR experience and specializes in diversity, equity, and Inclusion (DEI), learning and development, and humanitarian initiatives.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Byron is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and has led domestic and international teams in several of his roles at Amazon, Target, and Macy’s. He lives in Greater Cincinnati with his wife and daughter and enjoys coaching youth football, acting, traveling the world, being an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and being the CEO of Elevation Career Development.
