Speaker Bio:

Mary holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Communication. She is a Communication professor at Chattanooga State Community College in Tennessee and is Managing Partner with MTI Business Solutions. She also writes for LoveToKnow Media and contributes to xPertHR. Her certifications include Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Everything and DiSC Certified Trainer/Accredited Workplace Facilitator. Mary’s professional background includes extensive experience in management, HR, instructional design, communication, content creation, and higher education.

Mary is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences and association meetings nationwide, and she works with clients throughout the U.S. She has presented at the national SHRM Talent Management Conference, a number of chapter and state council meetings and conferences, and events for a number of other associations. She has served in a number of volunteer leadership roles with SHRM chapters in Alabama and Tennessee. She teaches virtual exam prep courses for SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, and APHR credentials.
